Every LioraCatcher piece starts with a name.
Not a SKU. Not a batch number. A name — yours, or someone you love. And from the moment that name comes in, everything we do is built around making sure the finished piece feels exactly as special as the person wearing it.
Here's what actually happens between the moment you place your order and the moment it arrives at your door.
Step 1: Your Order Comes In
When you place an order, we receive your name, your chosen color, and your selected style. Every detail is reviewed by hand — we check the spelling, the character count, and the color selection before anything goes into production.
This is the step most customers never see, but it's one of the most important. A personalized piece can't be returned and remade quickly — so we get it right the first time.
Step 2: Selecting the Materials
For our hair claws, we work exclusively with premium cellulose acetate — a plant-based material that's been the gold standard for luxury hair accessories for decades. Each piece is selected by hand for consistency of color, clarity, and finish. Acetate is durable, lightweight, and has a natural grip that holds hair without slipping.
For our hair brushes, we use natural wood handles with an air cushion base — salon-grade construction that feels luxurious in the hand and performs beautifully every day. Read more about choosing the right brush: How to Choose the Best Personalized Hair Brush for Your Hair Type
Step 3: Engraving Your Name
This is where your piece becomes truly yours.
Your name is engraved using a precision laser engraving process that cuts cleanly into the surface. The result is a crisp, permanent engraving that won't fade, peel, or wear off — no matter how many times you wear it.

Step 4: Setting the Rhinestones
For our rhinestone styles, each crystal is set individually by hand. This is the most time-intensive part of the process — and the part that makes the biggest visual difference.
Machine-set rhinestones are uniform but lifeless. Hand-set stones catch the light differently, sit more securely, and have a depth and sparkle that you can see immediately.
Every stone is checked before the piece moves to the next stage. If a stone isn't perfectly placed, it's reset.
Step 5: Assembly & Quality Check
Once the engraving and stone-setting are complete, the piece goes through a final quality check. We test the spring tension on every claw. We check the engraving under light. We inspect every rhinestone.
Only pieces that pass every check move forward.
Step 6: Packaging
Your piece is wrapped carefully and placed in our signature packaging — designed to arrive looking like a gift, even if you're buying it for yourself.
Because sometimes the best gifts are the ones you give yourself.
Step 7: Shipped to You
From the moment your order comes in to the moment it ships, the entire process takes 3–5 business days. We don't rush it — because a piece with your name on it deserves to be made properly.
Why We Do It This Way
We could make this faster. We could automate more of it. We could use cheaper materials and cut the production time in half.
We don't, because the whole point of a personalized piece is that it feels personal. That means real materials, real craftsmanship, and real attention to the name on every single order.
When you open a LioraCatcher package, we want you to feel that immediately — before you even put it in your hair.
